Kansas AFL-CIO I'm Voting Union 2026 Primary Election

Primary Election, Tuesday, August 4, 2026

I'm Voting Union.

When billionaires rig the rules against us, we fight back. These candidates stand with working Kansans for fair pay, safe jobs, and the freedom to form a union and care for the people we love.

Constitutional Amendment · August 4 ballot

Vote No.

A question on your August ballot would change how Kansas picks Supreme Court justices, turning them into politicians who raise money and run partisan campaigns. We have seen where that road leads. Vote no to keep our courts fair, impartial, and out of the hands of billionaires.

Attorney General

Chris Mann

Governor

Ethan Corson

A fighter with a legal mind who shows up for prevailing wage, collective bargaining, and good union jobs. Labor across the state lined up behind him, and so has Governor Laura Kelly.

U.S. House, Kansas 3rd

She stands with labor and has the record to prove it. She voted to restore federal workers' union rights and to protect Medicaid, and we need her voice in Congress.

How an endorsement is made

It starts with you, and ends on your ballot.

    Elect your delegates

Union members elect delegates to your area's Central Labor Council (CLC).

  2. 2

    Your Central Labor Council

    Vet the candidates

Delegates survey candidates, scrutinize their voting records and public statements, and interview them face-to-face.

  3. 3

    Your Central Labor Council

    Vote to recommend

The CLC votes on which candidates to carry forward to the statewide convention.

  4. 4

    KS AFL-CIO COPE Convention

    The final vote

Delegates from your union and unions across Kansas cast the deciding vote.

  5. The result

    Labor endorsed

An endorsement means a democratic majority of Kansas union members vetted this candidate and voted to back them. That is the slate you see above.
